To celebrate the foundation of the Research Institute for Official and Survey Statistics (RIFOSS), its grand opening will take place at Trier University on Friday, 18/01/2019. There will be talks by Prof. Dr. Michael Jäckel (President of Trier University), Prof. Dr. Ralf Münnich (President of the RIFOSS), Prof. Nikos Tzavidis, PhD (Head of Economics, Social and Political Sciences, University of Southampton), and Walter J. Radermacher (President of the Federation of European National Statistical Societies, FENStatS).
